The Ontario government has declared a provincial emergency order, effective Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 12:01 AM. This order requires everyone to remain at home and to go out for essential purposes only. Physiotherapy is an essential health care service and as such Body Balance Health & Physiotherapy will remain open for in person appointments in keeping with restrictions in place for physical distancing, patient screening and infection control measures. At Body Balance Health & Physiotherapy we are committed to providing a safe environment for our patients. We have put all necessary infection control measures in place to remain safe by reducing the risk of infection. We thoroughly disinfect all surfaces between clients and our protocol upon entry and exit of the building reduces the risk of infection with proper physical distancing measures in place. Our therapeutic approach that we have designed over the last 15 years remains focused on one to one care which keeps our clinic at a safe capacity in terms of the number of people who attend at one time. Our entire staff has been trained in a pandemic protocol that focuses on patient safety and this protocol is reviewed and discussed weekly amongst our staff. We can also set up virtual consultations with patients who are not comfortable being out in public and use a secure format for these sessions to ensure patient confidentiality. If you have further questions or would like to discuss what treatment may work best for you at this time please do not hesitate to call or email us at 519-541-9899 or [email protected]
